About the Dawn Discovery tour
Our Dawn Discovery tour is one for all wildlife enthusiasts, but in particular, the bird lovers. As the sun rises over the Southern Ocean, experience the dawn chorus of birds coming into full song.
On this intimate, 90 minute tour, your conservationist Nature Guide will give you exclusive insights into the lives of these birds, as well as the other wildlife active at dawn, including some of the more elusive and rarely seen animals like the Long-nosed potoroos and Southern brown bandicoots. Not to mention, spectacular views (and photo opportunities) with the sun rising over the iconic Great Ocean Road coastline.

No. At Wildlife Wonders the animals roam freely within the Sanctuary, so for the safety of the animals and their homes, the only way to experience the Sanctuary is one of our guided tours.
Plus by joining a tour with one of our Nature Guides you will learn and likely see so much more!

For younger kids, we recommend our Walk with Wildlife tour. Given the early start time and longer duration of our Dawn Discovery tour, it may be better suited to older children rather than the young ones. However we welcome everyone, so please contact us if you have any questions.
-
Booking in advance is recommended to make sure you get the tour time that works best with your schedule. Especially in the warmer months when the Great Ocean Road can be a little busier.
